texlive-query-astro Subpackage of texlive-collection-mathscience
Querying astronomical databases in LaTeX
The query-astro package is an experimental package developed to allow users to query astronomical databases directly from LaTeX. The query is performed by sending ADQL (Astronomical Data Query Language) instructions to a Table Access Protocol (TAP) service, so enabled \write18 is required. The result is then stored in a macro, which can be used in the document.
