RE2 is a fast, safe, thread-friendly alternative to backtracking regular expression engines like those used in PCRE, Perl, and Python. It is a C++ library. This package contains the C++ header files and symbolic links to the shared libraries for re2. If you would like to develop programs using re2, you will need to install re2-devel.
