perl-String-Approx
Perl extension for approximate (fuzzy) matching
String::Approx lets you match and substitute strings approximately. With this you can emulate errors: typing errors, speling errors, closely related vocabularies (colour vs. color), genetic mutations (GAG vs. ACT), abbreviations (McScot, MacScot).
