Peer-to-peer digital currency testing and debugging tools
Bitcoin is an experimental new digital currency that enables instant payments to anyone, anywhere in the world. Bitcoin uses peer-to-peer technology to operate with no central authority: managing transactions and issuing money are carried out collectively by the network. This package provides the unit test suites, the benchmark tool and the bitcoin kernel chainstate utility, available through the "bitcoin test", "bitcoin test-gui", "bitcoin bench" and "bitcoin chainstate" commands.
